Brethren, it was a pleasure to see the large number at our first meeting of this new year. We had several visitors from lodges in Blount County and one Brother from Nevada. This is one of the largest numbers I have ever seen here. THANKS EVERYONE who came. We started the new year off right by electing a candidate to receive the degrees. Masonry is alive and well, so let each of us make an effort to help our lodge grow. We have several events in the near future in this and surrounding lodges. There will be an officer training session at the Knoxville Scottish Rite Temple on January 26^th from 10:00am to 3:00pm. All officers are encouraged to attend. Rockford Lodge will host a breakfast for all area officers on Saturday February 2^nd at 8:00am. Mountain View will have an E A degree on February 19^th at 8am. District 19 meeting will be on April 11^th at Broadway Methodist Church here in Maryville. And of course our E A degree here on January 29^th at 7:00pm. See you here next month?
